The Gite Washstand is a sturdy, freestanding piece full of rustic charm and a story to match.

Handcrafted in Corfe Castle, Dorset, beside the steam railway, this design was originally created for a beloved Gite restoration project in Normandy, France. We loved it so much, we had to offer it to everyone.

Crafted from solid two-inch thick beams, the Gite Washstand features a bold, practical structure with two spacious shelves—perfect for towels, baskets, or bathroom essentials. Its timeless, rugged style makes it a standout in both classic and contemporary settings.
